Delhi Public School Bengaluru North
During her flight travel from Dubai to Bengaluru, Ms. Manjula, the Principal of Delhi Public School Bengaluru North, happened to see the movie "Aye Zindagi," and was very moved by what she saw. Aye Zindagi is a film depicting the life of Ms. Lalitha Raghuram (Country Director, MOHAN Foundation), who tragically lost her teenage son, Swamy, in a car accident and took the courageous decision to donate his organs.
Inspired by the movie, Ms. Manjula proposed a collaboration between MOHAN Foundation and Delhi Public School, Bengaluru for a fundraising initiative, through the crowdfunding platform, "Fuel a Dream" to raise funds for underprivileged children requiring lifesaving transplants.
The collaboration between MOHAN Foundation, Delhi Public School Bengaluru North, and Fuel a Dream proved to be a resounding success. Close to 100 students raised money to support this initiative which paved the way for five children receiving a paediatric transplant.
