For Hospitals & Transplant Centres

Hospitals committed to supporting economically vulnerable patients can partner with MOHAN Foundation’s initiative Anudaan – Making Transplants Affordable.

Hospital responsibilities:

  • Identify eligible patients facing financial barriers

  • Submit applications with verified medical and financial documentation

  • Provide a subsidised transplant cost estimate as part of patient support

  • Coordinate with the Anudaan team during approval and discharge

Anudaan helps bridge the remaining funding gap so that medically eligible patients are not denied transplantation due to inability to pay.

Timelines

  • Applications must reach at least 15 days before surgery.
  • Emergency approvals are not possible.

Post-Transplant Responsibility

  • Families remain responsible for medicines and follow-up care unless supported by other schemes.
  • Presently, Anudaan does not provide post-transplant financial support.

For Donors & Supporters

Every transplant supported through Anudaan is made possible because someone chose to help at the right moment. Most families come to us after exhausting savings, loans and relatives — often when surgery is scheduled and time is critical. Your contribution helps bridge that final gap so treatment can proceed without delay.

The name Anudaan reflects this idea: Anu means small or in support, and Daan means giving. Many small acts of generosity come together to save one life.

How your support makes a difference

  • Funds are used only for transplant surgery-related hospital costs.
  • Payments are made directly to the hospital after bill verification.
  • Support is usually partial, allowing more patients to benefit.
  • Support is given to economically vulnerable patients only, with priority to children and young adults.
  • Patients are guided to combine government schemes and other assistance, so your contribution multiplies impact.

Ways you can contribute

  • Individual donations – one-time or recurring giving
  • Sponsor a patient partially – support a critical funding gap
  • CSR partnerships – structured corporate support
  • Community fundraising – events, celebrations, memorial contributions
  • In-kind support & networks – help spread awareness

Transparency & updates

With patient consent, donors may receive updates on the patient’s recovery and outcome. Every supported transplant is documented to ensure accountability and responsible use of funds.

Your support does not just fund a surgery — it restores a future.
Help a patient reach transplant in time.
