How can I contribute?
You may:

Is my donation tax-exempt?
Yes. Donations are eligible for tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act.
Can I support a specific patient?
Yes, where applicable. Donations may also be contributed to a common pool that supports the most urgent cases.
How is my donation used?
Funds are disbursed directly to hospitals for approved transplant cases.
What is Anudaan?
Anudaan is a financial assistance initiative of MOHAN Foundation (Multi Organ Harvesting Aid Network) supporting patients who cannot afford life-saving transplants.
For Hospitals
How long does approval take?
Typically 15 working days after complete documentation is received.
Who receives the funds?
Approved funds are transferred directly to the hospital.
Is hospital contribution expected?
Yes. Hospitals are encouraged to provide concessions or subsidies for financially vulnerable patients. Anudaan support is intended to complement — not replace — institutional responsibility.
What is required for submission?
- Medical summary
- Transplant recommendation
- Detailed cost estimate (clearly indicating the hospital subsidy offered)
- Financial background documents
- Legal clearance documentation (where applicable)
- Details of funds applied and sanctioned from hospital to help underprivileged patient
- Link to Crowdfunding link if hospital helped patient to register
- Any additional documents requested by Anudaan
How can we collaborate?
Hospitals may:
- Refer eligible patients
- Ensure complete and timely documentation
- Explore and facilitate government funding schemes
- Provide institutional support or subsidies wherever possible
Anudaan works best when hospitals partner in reducing the overall financial burden on the patient.
For Patients
How are funds disbursed?
Approved funds are transferred directly to the hospital to ensure transparency and appropriate utilisation.
How long does the process take?
Typically 15 working days after complete documentation is received.
How do I apply?
Submit the following:
- Anudaan application form (completed by hospital and signed by patient/family)
- Hospital cost estimate
- Latest income certificate
- Identity proof
- Bank statement of the past six months of the patient and the family members
- Clear JPEG format photos of both the donor and the recipient
- Authorization committee letter approving the transplant for living donation or the Government deceased donation waiting registration details
- Link of Crowdfunding link if applicable
- Status of funds applied and sanctioned
Important: Complete applications must be submitted at least 15 days prior to the scheduled transplant date.
All applications are reviewed by a committee.
Does Anudaan cover the full cost?
No. Anudaan provides partial support. Patients are encouraged to combine assistance from:
- Government schemes
- Hospital subsidies
- Other funding sources

What support does Anudaan provide?
Partial financial assistance towards:
- Transplant surgery related hospitalisation expenses
Who can apply?
Patients who:
- Require a life-saving organ transplant –
- liver, kidney, heart, corneas and other solid organ transplants on a case-to-case basis
- Have been medically advised a transplant from a recognised transplant centre
- Demonstrate financial need
- Have completed legal clearances for a living donor transplant, or
- Are registered on the official waiting list for a deceased donor transplant
