Mr. Achchhe Lal, a 25-year-old man from Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, has completed a diploma in engineering and is preparing for competitive examinations with the hope of building a stable future. However, his aspirations have been interrupted by kidney disease, and doctors at Medanta Hospital, Lucknow, advised him to undergo an urgent kidney transplant.

The estimated cost of the transplant was INR 7 lakhs. With the support of MOHAN Foundation and other NGOs Mr. Achchhe underwent the transplant on July 23, 2026.

“When we came to know that our son was suffering from a serious and life-threatening disease and needed a transplant that would cost a lot of money, we were very worried. We felt like we had lost everything. Slowly, we started receiving help from kind and generous people, and MOHAN Foundation was one of them. We are very thankful to MOHAN Foundation for supporting us during this difficult time”. Father – Mr. Rajaram Prajapati
